Orange Theory

Sometimes all you have is an hour to get a workout in, sometimes it's just easier to come in and have someone tell you what you should do.

Every few years I like to remind myself how far I've come in my fitness journey. Being 300 pounds at 14 wasn't easy, but it made me who I am today. It gives me so much empathy for the people I train who are going through a similar struggle.

Why Channing Tatum?
After getting in shape, I was told once I look like a chocolate Channing Tatum. Sounded good to me. I ran with it.

Bio

-July 4th 1776- America won their independence

-July 5th 1992- I won mine

Gifted to the world like Simba, I hakuna matata'd my way through the vast Serengeti that is Phoenix, AZ until I marked my territory upon a tiny liberal arts school, aptly titled, Arizona School for the Arts. Running out of jungle metaphors I started from the bottom of the high school totem pole and YOLO'd my way into the acting program doing partnerships with Phoenix Theatre.

After 'making it here' I completed Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre's acting program then went on to further my career performing at the University of Arizona's Arizona Reparatory Theatre. Whilst I'm not standing upon walls half naked I'm an avid female self-defense instructor, martial artist, and nutritional/ fitness advisor. My goal at the end of my life is to be a teacher to kids at inner city schools. I want the next generation coming to graduate at a higher rate than mine, and I truly feel like teaching is my way to give back to the world.

If I make you breakfast in bed a simple 'thank you' is all I need. None of this 'how did you get into my house nonsense”.
